Your pure crystal filter consists of two parts:
- The filter housing – remains permanently and does not need to be replaced.
- The internal filter – the replaceable filter element that lasts up to 3 months depending on usage.
Each Pure Crystal filter comes with an internal filter that lasts up to 3 months , depending on usage. After that, the internal filter should be replaced to continue enjoying pure water.
So you don't have to worry about refills, we include a replacement filter with every order . This guarantees you clean water for a total of 6 months – with no additional effort!
How to change the internal filter:
- Remove the old internal filter from the housing.
- Insert new replacement filter.
- Done – your pure crystal filter is fully functional again!
Continue using after 6 months:
The filter housing remains intact – you only need new internal filters. You can easily order them here: [ Replacement internal filters ]

What is included in your order?
Filter housing: The housing already contains a pre-installed filter that provides clean water for about 3 months .
Additional replacement filter: After 3 months, you can easily replace the built-in filter – we already provide you with a replacement filter.
Mounting kit: Each kit contains various attachments so that the filter can be mounted on almost all conventional faucets.
Duo set (2 filters): You will receive 2 filter housings, each with a pre-installed filter, 2 additional replacement filters and 1 attachment set.
Family package (3 filters): You will receive 3 filter housings, each with a pre-installed filter, 3 additional replacement filters and 1 attachment kit.

Can the filter also be used with hot water?
Yes, the filter can be used with both cold and mixed water, but the water temperature should not exceed 65°C. The filter acts like a mechanical sieve. Since hot water often carries more deposits, it can become clogged more quickly without affecting the function of the filter.
How effective is the filter at removing contaminants?
Our filter removes over 99.9999% of E.coli bacteria as well as 99% of microplastics and microparticles. Unpleasant odors such as chlorine are also significantly reduced. However, we cannot give a blanket guarantee that all possible contaminants will be removed, as this can vary depending on the water quality. There is never absolute security, but with a filter you are always better protected than without.
What can I do if the filter is difficult to unscrew?
Over time, limescale can build up in the thread, making it difficult to unscrew. A simple trick is to put some olive oil on the thread and let it work for about an hour. Then hold the filter wing with your weaker hand and unscrew the ring anti-clockwise with your stronger hand.
Can I avoid plastic waste with ReinKristall?
The ReinKristall filter has a lifespan of about two months and filters up to 500 liters of tap water. This corresponds to a reduction of over 99% in PET bottles, as you can imagine that you could save 500 x 1L PET bottles. In addition, the filter cartridges are replaceable, so you don't have to buy the entire set again.
Does the filter affect the water flow?
Yes, the filter reduces the flow as the water is forced through different filter layers. With a new filter, flow rates are between 1 and 5 liters per minute, depending on water pressure (at least 1 bar) and water quality. The filter acts as a mechanical sieve. If the water flow slows down, this may indicate that the filter has retained large amounts of dirt and impurities from the tap water. Is the filter suitable for decalcifying water?
Our filter is not specifically designed for complete decalcification, as we want to preserve the important minerals such as calcium and magnesium in drinking water - both of which are essential for our bodies. However, hard water can have a negative effect on the taste. To counteract this, we offer an optional limescale reducer that slightly reduces the limescale content and makes the water taste softer. The limescale reducer lasts for around 20 days, although water hardness can vary greatly.
For complete decalcification, it would be advisable to install a central decalcification system, but this would cost around 3,000 euros including installation.
